It was during his undergraduate years at George Mason University and while serving as an intern for International Capital &Management Company (ICMC) - a management services organization serving Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), that Jimez first began to develop his competencies around DEI, human development and education. As a student, he was very active, starting 3organizations, and working for the University Life Sector as a Coordinator in the Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Multicultural Education. Still remembering why, he fell in love with this work, Jimez continues to also serve as a Higher-Ed & Student Advocate, working with institutions on how to better support and develop their students.

With a very unique background but adaptable skillset, Jimez has had the ability to work across the private, federal and nonprofit sectors. Part of his personal commitment is giving back and creating generational success, which is displayed in his many civic engagements: Human Rights Commissioner – Commonwealth of Virginia, Richmond City; Member of The Virginia Commonwealth University Employee Advisory Board & Virginia Tech Employer Council, among many others.
